Alexis,
Inside your symbol editor there should be an option to create a device file for
that symbol. I believe it is under menu pull-down File - Create Device.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Device files?
I haven't had to deal with this for years, so don't recall if there are any
shortcuts available, but I have a netlist from Mentor Design Capture 2007 that
won't import into Allegro 16.3 since I didn't get device files from the design
engineer (and he's gone home). I have the correct footprints, just no device
files. Is there a quick way to generate device files when they didn't come with
the netlist? Thanks for any info you can provide.
