[PCB_FORUM] Any script or builtin tool for calculating minimum copper width along a path?

Hi,

I need to see if the entire path from source to destination can carry a
known current.  Is there any tool/script that does this, or at least
can give me the minimum copper width between two pins (or points) and I
can then calculate the current carrying capacity?

What happens is shapes get voided around vias, and therefore will
reduce the effective copper width along the route, and I need a tool to
help, or have to do this visually/manually.

Thanks,

Austin
