Yes, the only real requirement for using Audible manager is to activate your
device. After your device is activated, you can get Audible files onto it
however you like.

I cut and paste files from my computer's audible folder directly to an sd
card. I don't like audible manager 5. I know I would have to activate with
manager 5, but can I do a direct copy and paste to a card or to the unit??

Thanks,

Judy

Hi:

When you're using Audible Manager, you are already in Disc Drive Mode at
that point. So, you might as well use the normal transfer mode. It doesn't
take that long to copy.

Hi,

As a point of clarification: does this mean it is possible to copy Audible
files directly in to the Audible folder using disc drive mode or file
sharing? I was under the impression from reading the help file that you had
to use Audible Manager to transfer these files to the Icon.

Thanks a lot.

Debbie

Yes, they do go in to the Audible folder on your Braille + hard drive.

Hi,. If you want to copy the audible books onto the braille plus by hand,
which folder do they need to go into?

Is it the audible folder?

Right now, my audible manager isn't pointing to where I have stored my
books.

Thanks.
