[icon-discuss] typing email problems

I have tried numerous times to type an email on my Icon using software version 
1.11 build 16 and no matter how I do it, when I'm texting it (using the numeric 
keypad) the unit switches from text mode to either "document is read only" or 
into Braille input without my doing anything or touching any keys except those 
used to do the texting.  

I have reset my unit using prog 1 + star + number sign.  I also have pressed 
the reset button in the battery compartment.  Not that I do a lot of emailing 
this way, however I would like to be able to do it.  Once the email is "read 
only" it's stuck and I have to start again, or because it happens shortly after 
I try typing I usually give up and go to my desktop or my laptop.  

I have not seen if this problem exists when I use the docking station though.  
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
