I have seen demos in which folks maintain its quite usable but can't imagine
using it. Also nls will not be available on it which is for many the primary
use of the unit.
I have no idea about ping but it would have been nice if developers spent more
time working on things like pdf and the long promised gps option and less time
on things like the tuner and twitter. Am I showing my age?
