[icon-discuss] Re: cannot update to 1.1..1

Shane,

I had the same problem. There is something hosed up in the 
system.db file that will not allow the unit to recognize the mime 
type for .lsi, so here is how I fixed it.

1. After doing a backup, re-flash the unit back to factory. For 
me that was 1.02.
2. Do not restore yet, but run the 1.06.28.lpd file. This will 
get you to that version.
3. Still do not restore, but now run the .lsi file.
4. You should now be at 1.1.1 and if you restore now the 
system.db file will be over written. So what I did was copy it 
out of the way first. It is in /home/root/db. Once this was done 
I restored and copied the system.db back int /home/root/db 
directory. I had to go reset some of the General settings, but I 
retained all my emails and RSS feeds and stuff like that.
