[icon-discuss] cannot create journal entries

I j decided to create a journal on the braille plus for the first time. when i 
attempt to select 1 for add journal entry or to hit the okay button, neither 
option functions. i can jump to a date (not that i have any there to jump to 
yet), and do all the other functions, but i cannot create an entry. are others 
experiencing this problem? any suggestions as to a solution?
