Thank you for your input.
I've finally figured out a rout that works. The users' guide seems a little
hazy on this. But I invoke the knew message command, then press select, as
instructed, and the address book appears. I focus on the one I want and
press 0 plus select to mark it. Now the to field appears, filled in with
the chosen address. Then I move on in the message fields. I was apparently
using the select command more than I needed because it seemed as though that
was what the users' guide was telling me. Anyway, my messages are going
where I want them to now.
