Yeah, exactly what I mean. Or wait for them docking stations for release.

I don't find the braille keyboard on the Braille Plus to be
cramped. It's almost set up like those ergonomic keyboards, the 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 keys a little farther away from each other so that you don't have your arms together in front of you while you're typing, as you often do with a regular Qwerty keyboard.

But you might want to consider that if you don't like the braille
keyboard, you can always add a qwerty keyboard to the device, which would certainly give you a little more typing room. I just got myself one of those Adesso mini keyboards, the type that is small enough to carry in a laptop bag or a big purse. I use that with the Braille Plus when I get tired of using its own braille keyboard. Also have a foldable rubber keyboard, but find that keyboard isn't as easy to use as the Adesso one.

 Hi,
The Braille Plus keyboard isn't crampt, in my opinion. It
feels quite spacious compared to the BNS keyboard I remember.
The braille keys themselves are spaced wide enough for my
finger s to fit between them.
The keypad is a little close together, but no more so than an
average chordless telephone, and a lot wider than some cell phones.
I'm not living in your area, so afraid I can't help with the
loan issue.
 Best,
 Zack.

LOL I have not updated in 15 years, and I really am looking at a new device, but i'm at...well...6 forks in the road. LOL. I'm looking very closely at the Braille Plus as one of the devices I'd like to get. So yeah is the keyboard on the BraillePlus cramped? Also, a good friend of mine told me that where she is if she needs to look at something such as the BraillePlus or Icon, that she can (in the sense of equipment loans for review purposes). I'm from Nevada and I'm not sure what we have here besides Easter Seals (which I heard on the news last week will be closing due to funding issues I think) and the NFB and I'm not sure if they have a tech lab or not. I know the local Blind Center only has the BrailleNote and PACmate (last I looked). What I'd like to do is to actually make a hard look at the device, but I can't make it to the conventions this summer due to my need to take the Praxis for my bachelors in special ed.
