Since it appears that there have been problems downloading the BraillePlus/Icon
update, I have a question:
Can the update be saved to a windows pc and then transferred to the braille
plus while it's on disk drive mode? If so, what would be the procedure for
installing it?

I am in the same boat as you. I got the download was complete message for
version 1.1.1 but no go after that. I also deleted all the temp folders and
the update folder but still can not get the download to start again. It
keeps telling me that the download is complete.
