Hi Scott, We are not sure exactly what is happening to you. It could be the files you are ending up with are actually html files which say 404 file not found. We used to see this a lot with blind cool tech. This was on a pc as well. The other possibility is that a username and password are required to get the podcast and this is not supported. You mention that you have to log in to get the list of feeds, but if they also now make you enter a password to download it will not work on the Icon. Hope this helps, Michael _____ From: icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Scott Marshall Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 2:18 To: icon-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [icon-discuss] Difficulty downloading podcasts Hi Mike and group: Recently I have had difficulty downloading podcasts. The feed is found when entered, and it updates okay and I get the list of episodes. When I mark one of the episodes for download, I get a very short (usually about 483 byte) mp3 file. This file will not play either in the rss/podcast application or from with in the file manager. Since the episode is one hour long, the file size should be much larger. This has happened several times with different podcasts, and the behavior always seems to be the same. Here is the feedburner address to one of the podcasts I have had difficulty with: http://feeds.feedburner.com/mikemalloyshowpremium1hr. I do have to enter my username and password to get to the page where these addresses are located, but there is no indication that one must enter a username and password to get the file to play. Now, I guess I've come out to you all as an unabashed liberal. <grin> Thanks for any help. Scott
