[icon Discussions] Braille Plus ac adapter

Hi,
I have been babying my Braille Plus along, hoping it would last until the new
model was available.
Well, the Braille Plus is still working, but my ac adapter has an issue.
A small screw worked loose on the underside of the adapter where the prongs
come out.
I called APH to ask if they thought it might still be useable, but they advised
against using it.
A new ac adapter from APH would be $21.00.
I am wondering if anyone has purchased an adapter from another source.
It sure is the dickens when you get to this point with a piece of equipment.
