May the problem of incompatibility also have to do with file format on the
drive? Isuspect that if NTFS is used on an external drive, BP and ICON
may not be able to access it.

[icon-discuss] Anyone Successfully Using Western Digital Passport Drive?

Hi all. I searched the list archives and saw several messages earlier this
month and in
September, 2007 about people using, or struggling to use, the Western
Digital Passport
drives with the Icon and Braille+. I'm thinking of buying one of these
drives, but want to know
whether I can expect it to work with the Braille+. If you've had problems
with this hardware
combination, did those problems persist when the Braille+ was connected to
AC power? What did
you end up using for an external storage solution if you abandoned the
Passport due to it
being unusable with the Braille+? Thanks in advance!

Jeremiah
