Did you leave the battery out for several hours and then try?
I would do that if you haven't.

Hi.  I'm asking this on behalf of a friend.  His braille+ is not 
booting.  We tried everything possible: a reflash, reset, reboot, 
and removing the battery.  When trying all of these, the unit did 
not vibrate like it was supposed to.  So, now what do we do? 
Should he send his unit in?
