I have never heard about any MacOS compilations of ibischk. There is some
conditional code in there for DOS, UNIX, WIN and WINNT, and BUG174
<http://ibis.org/bugs/ibischk/bug174.txt> is actually about some of that
code using system calls to find *.pkg files. So there might be some work to
do, although it seems likely pretending it’s UNIX (because it is) might work
just fine. At least OSX ditches the old CR line endings, that is no longer a
problem.
