-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.
Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:
- The minutes page is up to date now.
Call for opens:
- None
ARs:
- Bob Ross to prepare IBISCHK bug report for lack of warning with empty .ami
file
- Will be discussed today
- Mike LaBonte to prepare IBISCHK bug report for missing newlines.
- Mike was having trouble creating a testcase.
- The only DLL know to produce the message is proprietary.
- Might create a new DLL for this.
- Mike LaBonte to write text for contract to complete IBISCHK message help.
- In progress.
Empty .ami file IBISCHK bug:
- Mike: An empty .ibs file also produces no errors at all.
- It should fail because a number of IBIS keywords are required.
- Bob: We should try EBD and PKG too.
- This needs to be fixed.
- We will soon have 9 bugs to fix, it is time to do that.
Bug 185, IBISCHK for MacOS thinks it is Linux:
- Bob showed bug 185, not yet submitted.
- Mike: The copyright in the sample .ibs file should be retained.
Bug 186, unnecessary ./ in messages:
- Bob: I added a windows testcase.
- The .ami, .so and .dll files are all empty.
- Mike: That should print an error with 6.1.3.
- Bob: It doesn't.
- Mike: Does the W5600 warning actually print "%1" in the message?
- Bob: Yes.
- Mike: The W5600 message should be an error, not a warning.
- The .dll or .so cannot be used if it is invalid.
- On Linux the message has "... file too short".
- On Windows the message has "... not a valid Win32 application".
Bug 187. Missing newlines in error message
- Bob: This number will be reserved for the bug previously mentioned.
Bug 188, crash when [Model Selector] refers to absent [Model]
- Mike: The suggested fix is not from Yingxin Sun.
- Bob: This may have broken in 6.1.3 resulting from another [Model Selector]
bug fix (175).
- Bob: Bug 184 is a serious spec violation
- Reserved_Parameters new for IBIS 6.1 have been allowed in Model_Specific.
