I was thinking about summons, since I use it quite a bit.

I was wondering if it was a good idea to be able to summon a named unit. Not
the title but the actual flag name. Maybe a good idea, maybe bad, I really
don't know.

My second thought, and yes, I sometimes think and sometimes more then once,
lol...I was thinking of summoning being able to summon more then one unit.
This comes up cause I was trying to create a saucer seperation skill, where one
unit divides into two. The original plan was to destroy the old unit, and have
two in it's place which would go off and save the universe or their little part
of it.
What I have now is a secondary hull useing seperation to summon the saucer,
which is kind of weird. It's workable, but maybe it could be done? Comma
seperated list of units maybe?

I have been using summon to simulate a cloaking and uncloaking ship. It is
actually not to bad. Without hull, the ship can navigate around with impunity
since the enemy can't damage it, although on the flip side I made sure the
cloaked ship couldn't do nothing much but move around. It is as close to
invisibility as one can get at present.

The only problem is, is that when my ship uncloaks, it gets attacked, and that
is what I want. However, if the ship decloaks, it is actually kind of working
as a "heal", cause if I uncloak again, there is no damage since it summoned up
a brand new uncloaked ship. I guess my question is, is it somehow possible to
save that old ship and bring it back as it was when it is resummoned again?

My only answer, was that maybe a flag could be created that didn't so much
summon and unsummon a ship, but sort of turned a flag on and off. Since the
bad guys don't react much to a ship without damage they can cause to it,
turning the flag on and off seems like the best overall way to go about doing
it. All that would have to be saved is the hull point total which would remain
static until turned on again.
Does that sound feasible or doable, or even a good idea?
