If they have a duration of 0, they are simply applied and fizzle immediately. It would be cool if you could give an effect a duration of –1 to make it work as though it were a passive skill. I am working on a map where you can upgrade units, and, instead of completely changing the unit type, I’m just applying the upgrade as a effect. I have it as lasting 5000000 rounds right now, but of course, this is just a workaround, and making it last infinitely would be a lot cooler.
