Bibletime (or Sword project as the Windows version is called) 1.5 works ok on Windows, but what the Apt-Get people for SuSE put up, was a very rushed job indeed. Ah, commercial versions of COBOL cost $$$, some of them cost enough that I wouldn't mind making in a year what they cost! I will take a look at tiny COBOL, and FPK has come out with a new version, but an RPM isn't packaged for SuSE yet--or I think Mepis, though Mepis has a P2C. I'm trying to be much, much more cautious using apt-get for SuSE, some things I want seem to be handy at least through that means. I found away to fix my non-functioning files with 9.3 run an upgrade. I removed some files that I wanted to keep, etc., but I got the 9.3 functioning again, without loosing my data and settings, and even kept some programs I wanted. Mepis apt-get works more smoothly and reliably.
