I'm impressed. It is the very first Debian release, that would access a winmodem that I have on my second most used computer! If Debian types get Yast and the general SuSE setup transferred to Debian, I would be hard pressed to have anything but Debian type stuff on my computers. By the way, for you star-gazers out there, XEphem, the astronomy program, does work on Debian/Mepis.
