Most likely, you are talking about a PnP ISA ethernet card. If this is the case, you should have a diskette from the manufacturers that lets you set the card parameters (the equivalent to using jumpers in "the old days"). You will have to use this disk to set the card to a specific address (you'll probably have to boot into DOS to use it). It shouldn't matter what address, as long as it's not PnP. Then, kudzu should hopefully find it on the next boot. if not, you'll have to edit the /etc/modules.conf or /etc/conf.modules and add: alias ne eth0 options eth0 io=0x300 set the io to whatever address you set the card to.
