I believe Wolf used to be manufactured by the same Russian interest as Tula but
after a legal disagreement Wolf is now manufactured by Barnaul and Tula (aka
Tulammo) is manufactured by the original Russian group.
Other than the standard FUD about both brands of polymer coated steel cased
ammo sticking in chambers and being dirty I've heard good things about them as
general range ammo. I know Collectable Arms and Ammo here in Merrimack sells a
large quantity of the stuff (although they likely sell even more Golden Tiger)
and regularly offers special prices on Northeast Shooters that are supposed to
match or beat mail order prices. I've only shot a couple hundred rounds of
Wolf (from back when it was made by Tula) so I don't have extensive experience
with it but I would still buy and shoot it.
