Agree with basics.
- reloading while moving right to left?
- moving backward
- opening doors and port and not muzzling your hand
- etc
I am still learning as I do more matches

I agree with both. We should start with the basics of range safety and move
into basic ways to improve performance but not get too deep into gaming
stages.

I disagree but only slightly.
We don’t need to get into exotic techniques, but there are some basic ones
that can help and are not too difficult:
- Avoid shooting the gun dry, reload while you still have one in the chamber
- Reload while moving, not standing still
- If shooting a mix of steel & paper, it can help to not do steel last so
you waste no time checking to see if it falls.
There's no need to get into techniques that will produce faster stage times.
