[homeclinic] Repair or replace?

I have a cook stove that I love.
The oven quit working about 2 years ago.
I paid ove 1000 for the stove originally. It cost over 300 for repairs. In
that instance repair was definitely cheaper.
However, my dishwasher is getting in pretty bad shape. That we will replace.
So my answer is ..... it depends on the appliance.
