GParted is similar in function to Partion Magic 8 except it is open source and
free!
"The CD aims to be fast, small in size (~30mb), and use minimal resources
to get that disk partitioned the way you want it. GParted LiveCD uses Xorg,
the lightweight Fluxbox window manager, and the latest 2.6 Linux Kernel."
It can create, shrink or expand almost any partion and file system, including
Linux, windows, and mac file systems. So, the GParted LiveCD would be a handy
tool, for Linux, Windows and even MAC users!
