Tony -
Thanks! This was what I was wondering about qrz. I like that the beacon is
separate from the main callsign. Can you update the location separately
from your KG2GL page?

For those interested in having beacons listed.. My beacon KG2GL/B has its
own listing on QRZ for look up. You can manage it via your call sign in
QRZ.

Hi Vince,
For grid square locations, I frequently use the following:
List of Shortwave Beacons Worldwide (dl8wx.de)
<http://www.dl8wx.de/BAKE_KW.HTM>
It has been fairly consistent.
Personally, I prefer beacon IDs that include grid squares. Saves a lot of
time in looking stuff up.

Ken,
Thanks for the resource references. If these sources are powered by
qrz.com, they still have issues with beacons set up in different
locations from what is listed. Shouldn't this be more consistent and
accurate for beacon referencing?
What would be nice is a standalone beacon database lookup. Someone with
a beacon could register separately from your qrz.com account. Or, qrz
have a feature for beacons.
73 and thank you!

I do not need your Grid Square or QTH because of the
following Grid Square Locator Map, all I need is
your correct call sign and I know where you live.

Your address is quickly derived from a WM7D query:
I do not need for QRZ.com to load and wait for Log In.
