Position Description:
This position will be responsible for delivering and maintaining
native and cross GNU Linux toolchains for Freescale Board Support
Package (BSP) of various Freescale target platforms. Work also include
performance improvement and BUG fix of the GNU toolchain. The
engineer will work under Freescale Linux software team in Beijing.
Required Skills:
- Minimum master degree in computer science or electronic engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in using Linux or UNIX operating systems
- Excellent knowledge about how to build cross GNU Linux toolchains,
including GNU Gcc, Binutils, Glibc, etc.
- Strong programming skills on C and assembly language.
- Strong programming skills on one or more of the following Linux
script languages are preferred: Perl, Python, Expect, Tcl/Tk, Linux
shell programming.
- Knowledge in embedded system programming, Linux/Unix operating
system kernel, device driver.
- Familiar with Git or other source code management tools.
- Familiar with any of the following processors architecture: PowerPC,
ColdFire, ARM, and MIPS. Prefer to have multi-core knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork
adaptability, good oral and written English skills, self-motivated.
