Tues Thursday mornings I snipe hunt, (jk) and evenings seldom work out so I'll
do Briery and/or SRR Monday Wedn Friday morning.

Thanks to Warren and Evan, our first of the winter waterfowl have been spotted
and accounted for!! I am wondering if anyone would like to collaborate on a
schedule for the coming months to get SRR, Briery and Wilck’s covered as
frequently as possible both morning and evening. As always, the presence of
duck hunters is our biggest obstacle to getting accurate waterfowl counts, so I
include the hunting schedules for you here:
SRRWaterfowl:
November 16-27
December 19-February 15
Sunday hunting for waterfowl is allowed.
Snipe:
October 21-January 31Sunday hunting for snipe is NOT allowed.
Briery
Waterfowl:

Doves:

Sunday hunting for waterfowl is NOT allowed.
Statewide Youth Waterfowl Hunting Day is February 4, 2017. Hunting is allowed
from 1/2 hour before sunrise to sunset OR 1/2 hour after sunset depending on
which bird is the target. Duck hunting ends January 29 but goose season
remains open through the end of the listed term, so Feb 1 might give us a bit
of a reprieve, perhaps.
I can do Monday mornings at SRR and Wednesday mornings at Wilck’s - then most
any evening that needs it. Let me know your availability if you’d like to
participate!
