Hey,
Sadly yesterday while I was down at the river some fishermen scared
away the Tundra Swan, which after circling around for a few minutes, turned to
go down river. Despite the swan being gone I headed down there this morning in
hopes of possibly getting some ducks on this drizzly day. After about an hour
and a half of looking around I found 2 females and 1 first winter male
Red-breasted Merganser. After about 15 minutes of watching them, they took off
going down river in the same direction as the swan had the previous day. I
didn’t bring my camera because of the rainy conditions so sadly I don’t have
pictures to prove it but I did put a description on my checklist.
Happy Birding,
Logan
