Well done on the warblers. We swung by 45 this afternoon but didn't see the
shrike. Did pick up a green heron at bear creek. Was hoping for a sweep of
the herons today. Haha. Rain chased us off.
Hope to be there in the morning.

After the awesome morning of Yellow-crowned Night Heron, Blackpoll Warbler,
and Caspian Tern, and after the rain lifted, I found a nice mixed warbler
flock moving through Holliday Lake SP as I checked the trails. A surprising
amount of other species were out and about as well. Another highlight was a
SWAINSON'S THRUSH along Lakeshore Trail and a BLUE-HEADED VIREO along
Saunder's Creek.

Tomorrow looks promising so we are going to meet at Wilck's Lake island
entrance at 7:00 am (Sat) to look for migrants for a while before Heart of VA
Festival. Hope to see you there!
