[HEALTH.MIL] TriWest Loses TRICARE Contract

1.  March 16, 2012 - TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) announced its intent to
award a contract to UnitedHealth Military and Veterans Services in the West
Region in support of the third generation of TRICARE Managed Care Support
contracts, also known as "T-3." Health care delivery, under the new contract, is
scheduled to begin April 1, 2013. TMA is committed to keeping beneficiaries and
stakeholders informed about the transition. Updated information about the T-3
contracts is at http://www.tricare.mil/t3contracts.

NOTE:  The TRICARE West Region includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado,
Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New
Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, western Texas, Washington and
Wyoming.
