Hi Stephan,

Maybe some patches are needed to get it to be binary compatible with
libjpeg.so.8 (or mostlikely I would expect just creating a symlink because
libjpeg-turbo is in active development). I don't know. But according to the
fedora wiki, it's a drop-in replacement (no need to recompile any
application). So probably taking a look at the Fedora libjpeg-turbo SPEC
file will reveal if any kind of additional steps are needed to achieve that.
