i donno if this is really needed. the main linux distros work without
that too and get their
security updates directly from the net without hazzles. although a
bootable cd-rom would
be nice would it not be just better to make an os-dump on cd so you can
just write it back
without applying all the patches again?
just a thought... i would do it only that way.
