Definitely! It should also be possible to lock the modifier keys, so that one
can conveniently drag and drop strings onto the keys without needing to press
the modifiers keys on the keyboard at the same time. Moreover a Unicode table
should be displayed (maybe only as advanced option) -- very useful when one
doesn't know how to produce a character with the current keymap and would
otherwise need to go hunting for it in texts.
