Straight from the horses mouth:
"Congratulations, your application for Haiku as a mentoring
organization for Google Summer of Code 2011 has been accepted!" -- The
Google Summer of Code Program Administration Team

This year, a total of 417 mentoring organizations applied this year
and and 175 were selected to participate. In 2010, 367 mentoring orgs
applied and 151 were accepted; 5539 proposals were submitted by 3464
students, and 1026 were accepted
