I think I see where your problem probably lies -- you got it from Haikuware,
right?  Unfortunately that's still the unfixed (2000!) BeOS version, so indeed
it won't install or run!  Also unfortunately, the page is still owned by Karl, 
not
me, so I can't update it at the moment.  You can find the Haiku version on
BeBits, however.
