(For those who don't know it is with 's', not 'z') In the Microsoft Windows 98 EULA it says says something like you rent w98, for as long as you want to use it, but it is not yours and in the case of obtainning a new version, the media (CD) should be returned to a Microsoft Office. Currently, one can make backup copies of any purchased software to prevent damage on the original media, but you can't sell it or rent it to someone else.
