In principle a good idea, but maybe only sensible with R1 and beyond. 
Sure, a tiny bit still changes with the improvements of the ongoing 
development, but I think people profit more from corrections and even 
more of additional translations.
Plus, they still have the user guide that was installed with the release 
locally.

Let's see how the git adventure turns out and decide if we go with a 
"live" version on the website if that's possible.
