yeah, yeah, that's what i meant, it can be there alongside the other
in case soomeone want to roll back to the older one.

If I manage to reassemble my build system I can probably get a diff in
a day or two.  I've been trying to build a new image to test the geode
driver out but just realized last night why it was failing, my /home
partition on my ubuntu pc was filled up and of course the trash
refuses to empty so it's borked.
