There are two kinds of SCSI Common Access Method support in the BeOS.
It supports both kernel and userland.

Back in the good old days before The Great Change In Focus, I wrote
some kernel CAM drivers, as that was all there was at the time.  But
in a later release the userland access was added.  I'm pretty sure
BeOS 5 Pro supports both methods.
