welcome! The best approach is usually to find something small which annoys
you personally. It may take more than one attempt of looking into such an
annoyance until you find something which matches your experience to fix.
Another good start is the bug tracker. You could browse the tickets looking
for something which sounds easy enough to fix and then go about it.

You are always welome to ask questions here if you get stuck, or discuss the
best approach to a fix.

When you have something ready, you can attach a patch to the ticket in
question. Be sure to follow the coding guide lines very closely.

I hope that you will find Haiku a nice and welcoming environment, and that
you find the code clean and elegant once you dig in!

Best regards,
-Stephan
