Hi All!

At the moment I'm working on driver for Standard USB Audio devices. The specification for USB Audio specifies MIDI streaming interfaces besides Audio Control and Audio Streaming interfaces. So support of MIDI capabilities of such hardware should be implemented in my usb_audio driver. The problem is that I see no MIDI support in current version of Haiku Multi-Audio specification. May be I'm looking into wrong headers? :-) At the moment Haiku Multi-Audio play only with "pcm" stuff. As far as I remember MIDI support in old BeOS sound APIs was implemented by publishing /dev/audio/midi nodes under devices hierarchy. Is some support of MIDI planned for the nearest future?

Thank you!

Kind Regards,
