Hi Duane and welcome! On 8/16/07, Duane Ryan <bailey.d.r@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > So, how can I help? Better yet, you can have a look at the bugtrack http://dev.haiku-os.org/ and try to fix some bugs. Coding guidelines are very important in open source projects, especially in this one! I struggled a bit at the beginning, Michael can confirm ;-) so I suggest you to read the following carefully http://haiku-os.org/documents/dev/haiku_coding_guidelines Once you have made modification to the source, you can create a patch by issuing the command "svn diff > mypatch.diff" , make sure to run svn update first. If you are new to svn I suggest you to read this http://svnbook.red-bean.com/nightly/en/svn.tour.cycle.html Once the patch is done, you can email it to the right mailing list so an Haiku dev can review it and eventually commit it for you.
