You may be mistaken what Cortex is. Cortex is an application that
interfaces with the features of the Media Server. Haiku has (inherited from
BeOS's design) a cross application media frame work. Applications can
connect audio/video streams to destinations in other applications. There
will be a flow of media buffers using shared memory. Cortex can visualize
the existing framework of media nodes. And it lets you create new nodes and
make new connections. This is all about multi-media and doesn't have to do
with wireless networks. Unless someone would write a media node which
implements some media streaming over the network protocols.
