Before the recent alpha release scottmc personally rebuilt pretty much all the optional packages on the alpha branch so they could be released. Unfortunately to complete a lot of this required those of us with commit access to commit patches for him. Since he has been a long time member of the Haiku community and because of the useful work he has done, I would like to suggest Scott get commit access to the Haiku repo. Whoever already has commit access can vote on this, so please do.
