Yes of course. Unfortunately I only just noticed it, but I guess most
users will get a kick out of it instead of seeing it negatively.

True, though I don't know if there is documentation on this. For
example I don't know offhand how to do it though I'm sure it isn't
terribly hard.

Yes I agree, there is probably no point in setting up an unneeded
secondary mapping between some fairly random code name and R1/alpha1,
R1/alpha2, etc.
