No it doesn't. Sure having no-ops is a better solution, to which I'll
have a look hopefully this weekend.
To be honest, I only rediscovered last night that I patched previously
the iprowifi4965 driver when merging the driver from FreeBSD 8.1; this
explains why it was working well for me, and not for others. In the
end, I used the same trick for now to unblock the situation (and go to
sleep).
More cleanup is in fact needed.
