IIRC, DV baseline video frame resolution is 720x576i@25 (PAL) or 720x480i@30 (NTSC). For audio, it's either 2x16bits @ 48 kHz (stéréo) or 4 x 12 bits @ 32 kHz, but this later format is less frequently supported. Only *pro* or semi-HD variants of DV format supports more formats. And synchronized audio track ! > Clockwerk actually uses a mechanism which worked on BeOS > to check if an encoder would accept a certain media_format, but > this does not yet work on Haiku and thus the format is available > even when trying to render later will fail. Sounds like a bug, then. Anyway, thanks for bridging the gap between the Firewire DV media add-on and the encoding side. I'll find back my old DV cam tonigh, I bet ;-) Philippe.
