Yes, I did this only this time and will not do it again.
I wanted the translations to get more exposure in alpha2 and get more people
to help improve them.
I know some of them are incomplete or not approved.
I think a solution could be to remove only the one for "readonlybootprompt".
This way at first boot the language will not show up in the list.
Sorry for not asking before doing that.
