 That might be difficult depending on what kind of signal handlers mplayer
 puts in place. Under normal circumstances this would simply crash on exit,
 but it could be that something else strange is going on here. I'm not sure
 what order the images get unmapped in again, so it could be some strange
 interaction like the image the signal handler is in already being unmapped
 at this point in at-exit cleanups. Ingo might have a better clue.
